A couple of Colorado’s hot springs have started reopening after being closed because of the pandemic, though the experience of a hot spring soak may be a little different than past experiences. Let’s take a brief look at a few of the hot springs and/or resorts already welcoming guests back for a refreshing dip in Colorado’s invigorating springs.
We’ll begin with our nearby sister site the Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs. Twin Peaks has implemented extensive protocols to ensure all guests and staff are safe. These measures include restricted access to the pool and hot tubs and keeping a close focus on social distance. the popular Sage Spa is once again welcoming customers but an appointment must be made as walk-ins are currently not being accepted.
Should you decide to venture beyond Alpenglow, you may be excited to find out that on the 16th, the Ouray Hot Springs Pool will be welcoming people back. Another one of Ouray’s classic sights, the attraction saw a huge facelift not too long ago, and it’s brimming with different pool types, including splash pools for the kids and those that want to soak in something cooler than a hot spring.
